How can I register my business with Google My Business?

I’ve put together an easy step-by-step guide to register your business with Google My Business. Here’s how you can do it!

  1. On your computer, go to business.google.com
  2. Sign in to your Google Account, or create one. Then, click Next.
  3. Enter your business address. Then, click Next.
    If your business doesn’t have a physical location but operates within a service area, you can list the area instead.
  4. Choose how your business will display on Google Maps.If you serve customers at your business address:
    1. Enter your business address.
    2. Click Next. If you also serve customers outside your business address, you’ll have the option to list your service areas as well.If you don’t serve customers at your business address:
    3. Enter your business address.
    4. At the bottom, click I deliver goods and services to my customers and then Next.
    5. List your service areas, then click Next.
  5. Search for and select a business category. Then, click Next.
  6. Enter a phone number, then click Finish.
  7. Select a verification option. Make sure all of your information is correct before requesting verification. If everything looks good, go ahead and click on Verify.
  8. Follow the instructions on your screen to get your verification completed.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully registered your business with Google My Business. Don’t forget to optimize and keep your business listing up-to-date.
